Born in İzmir on 25 January1951. She is a 1968-1972 graduate from the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics. On September 1st 1972, she started working for the Accounting Department of AVM Holding. She continued her career in the sales and finance departments February 4th 1992, she was entitled with a certificate of chartered accountant. Born in Istanbul on 28 February 1955, she has commenced her education in the field of biology at the University of Zurich after graduating from Alman Lisesi (German High-school ) in 1973. Completing her university education in 1980 at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Economics, she has received a Master's Degree from the Faculty of Economics in 1982. She has completed her PhD program in 2005. She has worked as a researcher in Istanbul University’s Economics Department from 1982 to 1984. She has been holding various managerial posts in Ahmet Veli Menger Holding Inc. since 1988.
