Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, representative of Ahmet Veli Menger Holding Anonim Şirketi in the automotive sector, was established in 1939. After a span of ten years, in 1949, it became the exclusive representative of Daimler Benz AG in Turkey. Mengerler İstanbul Davutpaşa Service was established in 1958 in order to provide after sales services to all types of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi which had a capital of only 2 million TL in 1953, had reached 50 million TL in 1977. OTOMARSAN (Buses and Motor Vehicles Industry Inc.) was established in 1967 with partnership of Daimler Benz AG (36%), HAS Otomotiv Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (32%) and Mengerler Türk Ticaret A.Ş. (32%). In 1982 the capital of Mengerler Ticaret Türk Anonim Şirketi had reached 500 million TL. In 1984 all of the general representation duties of Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi were transferred to Otomarsan Anonim Şirketi following the resolution of Daimler-Benz AG regarding the unification of its activities in Turkey under one company. The company maintains its position as a founding partner.

OTOMARSAN Anonim Şirketi, a partnership of Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi has changed its trade title as Mercedes-Benz Türk Anonim Şirketi in 1990. In 1999 Mengerler Ticaret Türk Anonim Şirketi sold all of its shares in Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. to Mercedes-Benz and thus its partnership ended.

Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi currently makes 36.65% of total vehicle sales turnover and 41.32% of the total service turnover of Mercedes-Benz. 32.85% of the total turnover of Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. is realized through Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.

In the last 15 years AVM group made an investment of 51 million Euros for the development of automotive sector in Turkey, 14.3 million Euros of it made in 2004 marking it as the highest annual investment level reached.

In 2007 Mengerler group have realized a total sale of 8.341 vehicles and a total service entries of 115.772 vehicles. The total volume generated through sale of vehicles and services made by the automotive group reached 559 million Euros. 41.33% of vehicle owners served once by Mengerler authorized services preferred Mengerler authorized services again. Every 4.5 minutes a vehicle exits from the doors of Mengerler Service Stations with any kind of maintenance thereof completed.

Mengerler Türk Ticaret Anonim Şirketi continues providing privileged services to its customers in the automotive sector with a total of 846 qualified personnel and dealerships and services operating at 10 separate locations of Turkey.
